A second generation family business, what is now known as Fumigate All Hours (NSW) Pty Ltd (FAH) was originally established by Kenneth Allibone over 50 years ago as Fumigators Australia.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience from almost 20years in fumigation for an international company in the United Kingdom, Kenneth then established the Australian arm of that company in Port Jackson in the late 1950s. This was following the international introduction of shipping containers, transforming the shipping industry and associated services. Kenneth continued to serve as the Fumigation Manager of this international company until the late 1960s.
With Sydney's shipping container industry in full swing, Kenneth and his wife (Betty Allibone) identified the growing need for competition in fumigation services due to the increasing local industry, as well as the preservation of our unique flora and fauna due to our remote geographical location. So, in 1968 they co-founded Fumigators Australia. Sydney's shipping industry continued to grow and moved to Port Botany (1979) and its first expansion (1980s). In 1988, widowed with a teenage daughter, Betty Allibone took the reigns. Betty re-branded their company (as Fumigate All Hours (NSW) Pty Ltd) and independently grew the company into a successful business; made possible by the respect and reputation of both Betty and her late husband in the industry and the initial support of a friend/silent-benefactor. Working alongside her mother for many years and starting on the ground as a fumigator, Allison Skuthorpe (nee Allibone) has continued to grow the business following Betty's passing, not only growing and improving the company's services and reputation set by her family before her, but also turning it into the premium business success it is today.
In all endeavours the Allibone's have strived (and accomplished) to provide a family run company to guarantee their clients complete accountability and exceptional, reliable and thorough biosecurity fumigation services that we still provide today.
As a company, we pride ourselves on our reputation and always strive to work pro-actively and maintain excellent working relationships with all relevant government agencies, clients and suppliers to ensure our methods and processes are up-to-date, efficient and without fault.
Our team is fully licenced and certified and receive regular training. With experienced fumigators that have many years in the industry to young labourers that are gaining invaluable skills and training from the best. All of our staff take great care with your shipments and treat all safety aspects that come with handling fumigants as paramount.
